SPRING STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING

🏋🏿 Curcio Training spring Field Hockey strength and conditioning training 🏑

 Purpose- To build Strength, Speed, Stamina, Power, and Flexibility.
Here's some of the things we’ll be doing:
Endurance & Latic acid Threshold training, muscular & cardio strength & endurance, flexibility, mobility & injury prevention.

I believe it's important to cover as many different fitness domains as possible!

When: Thursday’s @3pm & Saturday’s @12:30
Starts Thursday April 12th

Cost: 9 week session 2X a week $415
1X a week $300

Where:  Strength Training Halo Fitness / Speed & Conditioning NCHS ( water tower field)

Girls U12, U14 & U16 Progressive Strength & Conditioning

 

Using the CrossFit methodology, the workouts will be constantly varied in intensity to mimic real time playing, all along using proper technique and an understanding for the movement of their bodies.  The goal is to increase strength, endurance, speed & agility, flexibility & mobility with added nutritional guidance.

 

This is suppose to be a positive experience with the hopes that these exercises will stay with the girls as they grow.  It will not only increase strength for performance, but keep them healthy and safe. (I still fall back on the exercises I learned from my college weight training days and love them!)

 

 A 45-60 minute class will include: 

  • 5 min cardio warm-up
  • 5 min dynamic/ mobility work
  • 5 - 10 min movement prep (movements that mimic the workout)
  • 12 - 20 min Crossfit Wod
  • 10  min static stretch
